exercise and type 1 diabetes

Hi
I have a neighbor with diabetes. he is student and also works 20+ hours a week. He have not a much time for exercise as I do. But i have seen to manage out Both aerobic and resistance exercise which are thought to be important for 1 diabetics.

Aerobic exercise like walking, running, swimming, dancing, etc which works your heart and lungs and carries oxygen to your muscles, while resistance exercise builds muscle.

Resistance exercises that is weight training increase muscle strength and complement the benefits of aerobic exercise.

I always found him perfect boy. He is eating everything but smartly, i think he is has a good set of dietitian and diabetes educator.

I am very sincere towards exercise but my sugars tend to sky-rocket afterwards! After resting and going about normal activities my levels drop and then I am able to enjoy the positive effects of exercise. But I'm wondering if anyone else deals with this, and if there's anything I can do to stop it. I have heard that this happens to people who don't exercise regularly.
can anyone help me? :| :|

I can say you first take care of diet, you are nibbling on something with high carbs. When you decide to begin resistance exercise, you should get some instruction by a qualified exercise specialist. You should start with low weights and one set of 10 to 15 repetitions. The goal is to build up to 3 sets of 8 repetitions with the highest weight that can be lifted three times per week.
