Alternative for Euglucon

Hi
My father has Diabetes Type 2. He also has BP
Age: 72
Has diabetes for past 20 yrs I guess
He has been taking medicines till now and is doing quite OK
Both Sugar and BP are in control for all the while; thanks to well home care taken by my mother for all these years

He is using Semi-euglucon twice daily and off late it seems like the medicine is not showing any impact on him. Is there any alternative that we can use?
