I would be interested in knowing if historical increases in the occurrance of diabetes is, or can be, linked to changes in diet over time, especially the fact that we now eat so much "processed" food. More specifically, has the increase in preservatives (fast food, etc.) been linked to increases in diabetes for other than causing obesity?
