Both of my parents have Type II and my father passed away in 1996 from it while I was only 15 years old. I have always feared that I would get it as well but thus far I have been lucky. Its all about your lifestyle though. Watch what you eat and exercise and that will reduce the chance of you getting it. Good luck though cause in the end that is what it will come down too.

My mom passed away back in 2008 of type one diabetes, she had a hearts attack. Her kindneys was failing and everything was going wrong. The doctors said that their wasn't much to do for her because of her heart. It wasn't in good shape and they couldn't do know surgery on it because they was afriad of some things. I don't know how to really explain it though. But my question is that could I myself be diagnosed with diabetes in my life time. Or will my future children have it? Because my mothers grandfather was diagnosed with it. And I don't know what to do... So yeahh... message me back or something... Peace....

Thank u very much mohammad, Are u a diabetologist?? can u provide me infomation symptoms which we have to be alert of?? bcoz now she is back to home but still when we check the blood sugar level its easily reaching 200 even before food.. and she is feeling damn hungry... obviously she have to eat.. doctor has recommended to check once before breakfast and once before the dinner... My question is .. is there any other way to find out the blood sugar level.. coz everyday two times taking out blood (its just one drop but still it matters as she is vry small)?? will this be decreased by regularly following diet and excercise??? may be in future.. checking just one time is enough.. or checking once in two days is enough... any possiblities of getting situations like this???
Thanks in advance..

Hello, I feel sorry about your sister.
Type 1 Diabetes a kind of autoimmune disease which attacks on the insulin producing cells of pancreas and results into stop insulin production. Once the diagnosis is complete and you will come to know that your sister is diabetic you will need to check blood sugar multiple times in a day, along with multiple injections of insulin or she can even use a pump. If this is ignored she may face life threatening complications like blindness, kidney disease, nerve disease, heart disease or any gangrene. To avoid these monsters in her life she needs to get control over her blood sugar.
To achieve good control, or normal blood sugar levels, she needs to pay attention towards following factors.
• Insulin
• Blood test
• Exercise
• Food
• Stress.
The good news for you is that new research shows that when you can implant artificial pancreas.

Hi , My 10 year old sister is having problems with Type 1 diabetes. Day before yesterday her Sugar level shooted to 570 and Low BP. bcoz of this she was admitted in Hospital and was in ICU till today morning. While she was in ICU I came to know about Type 1 Diabetes and its seriousness.
